Dear abap2xlsx Users/Developers,
I am a huge fan of this project and love the solutions we can build with it.
However, I was approached by our security responsible colleague who asked me: "how can we sure there is no hidden malware in the code?"
Actually, I had no hard arguments besides my belief in the SAP community, which did not convince him. Obviously I did not read the whole code myself, it's not so little after all...
He asked stuff like: "Are there any documents from anyone who checked A2X for security issues?", "How many people/which companies use it?",...
Well? Did anyone of you face such discussions? Any suggestions/data that I can use to argue? For example, if I could say something like "These 20 well known companies use it", it might convince him that it is nothing exotic but well proved software.
Unfortunately, I found no informations in this direction on abap2xlsx.org and the pages linked there.
